We have recently supplied many brand new vehicles, multiple brand type for a film being shot between the UK and Southern Europe and many of these cars were damaged. We have also supplied a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom which was used for just 8 hours filming for a 20 second scene.

We are effectively the production companies PROP department for vehicles. We have built a very good reputation over the past Years and we have contracts to supply cars for the next 12 months and beyond. We have recently been requested to supply some very exclusive Classic cars, which are so rare that there are very few in circulation, so after extensive research we found a Swiss collector who had what was needed and we sent our trucks out to collect and supplied for filming and back to storage all within 72 hours. KENSINGTON ASSOCIATES take the approach – the answer is Yes, we then find the solution and have a 100% record of supplying cars on time. We have a new project we are working on based in the UK for a remake of a TV series from the 1960’s and have to supply cars from that era to cars from today as there are flashback scenes. In this case we are supplying cars on daily hire being the cars from the 60’s and selling the current day cars to the production company as within this TV series there are many car chases and many cars get destroyed in the process. Situations like this mean that the production company might ask us for the NEW BMW 5 series and then we have to supply 5 units all displaying the same license plate to film the various scenes and the most likely outcome all 5 cars will be destroyed. All part of the production companies budget. However most of the time cars are not destroyed and rarely driven, so after the filming has finished we buy back the cars and then dispose of either reusing in TV and Film are just selling off if no longer required.
